In progress pixel art designs

Hey guys, working on shirt designs for this week, all in pixels.  Here’s the first one:

Atomic warfare

Wow, I can’t believe it’s been a month since I’ve made a design.  That’s what I get for starting work, huh?  I made a design for woot under the theme “energy” so I went with atomic war since THAT has a lot of energy involved for sure.  Here’s what it looks like:

Birdcage

I’m working with a little bit of metaphorical leeway today for this birdcage design, seeing as it isn’t really a birdcage but it is a birdcage and so the circular reasoning goes.  The lighter yellowish color on the design would be gold foil, so the bird silhouette itself is gold and some random cage bars are as well.

Black Diamond

So my shirts haven’t been doing too well which is okay. I’m kind of missing wide when guessing what people want so this design is a bit more urban than what I’ve done so far.  Really stark and stylized but still me cause it’s angular, line-y, and has only one color.  I’m doing this one for Woot and crossing my fingers that something comes up with a theme that will make this fit, maybe a rectangular theme, pretty rocks theme, or use one color theme.  Anyway, this time I’m looking for input to change this design up since the time between now and the must-have-clouds theme is probably a while.  Thanks in advance!

Wolf Shirt

The wolf shirt is finished.  Check it out below and give me feedback.  This one took me a few days to complete since it’s all vector work.  That’s right: no photoshop filters used here.  Vote for it here: http://www.designbyhumans.com/vote/detail/16147

Going Nowhere Soon

Here’s the newest shirt FINISHED since the wolf is in progress.  So far what I’m doing right now is all for design by humans but this is for the shirt.woot.com/derby “derby” (guessed that?).  The theme is at the top of the page: an emblem for an imaginary place.  So I picked nowhere cause it has that joke potential.  Is there any other place you’d rather be going fast?  After 11:00 AM MDT you’ll be able to vote for it at that link above granted you’ve bought a shirt from Woot before.

Burning HOT

New design for this week.  Just recently got settled into D.C. and job is postponed temporarily so I’m working on these things all day.  The first to have the treatment is Burning below.  Check it out.  Would wrap around the shirt and the flames would be done up in silver foil like those guys on Signs.  Tell me what you think!

First Design!

Hey guys, my first design has been put up for voting at Design By Humans.  Update: And subsequently taken down for sucking it hard like an overzealous girlfriend sucks a hickey.
